CABIN OCCUPANCY: Maximum of 4 guest per cabin. Only registered guests permitted to stay at the cabin. Non-registered guests must leave the property at the conclusion of an event, or by 11 pm. The cabin’s maximum guest load is six (6). Intoxicated guests may NOT sleep on floors, couches or recliners.
QUIET HOURS: 9 pm to 7 am
PETS: We have a no pets policy.
SERVICE ANIMALS: Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. In accordance with the ADA, all service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. Upon check-in, please confirm with the Inn host/hostess as to the outdoor area accessible for the exercising of the service dog during “potty breaks”. Service dogs are not permitted on the Inn’s furniture, unless as a necessity for which the dog is trained.
PARKING: Vehicles can be parked in the lot by the sheds or in the pulloff area on the side of the cabin. Do NOT block the driveway as access to the back must remain open.
CHECK OUT: Check out is 11 am. Late check out until 1 pm with 24 hours advance notice and subject to availability.
HOUSEKEEPING: If staying multiple days, sheets/towels will be refreshed every three (3) days, or as requested.
BREAKFAST: A Keurig coffee machine is available for hot beverages, as well as a selection of breakfasts that you can put together.
BATHROOMS: Please use facial makeup washcloths to remove makeup. Our historic cabin uses a septic system and a cistern for water. DO NOT PUT sanitary products or condoms in the toilet. Please keep water usage to what is required to not overwhelm septic.
FURNITURE: Furniture may not be moved or rearranged. Please refrain from setting wet-bottomed glasses or cold/hot beverage containers upon wooden desks or tables without the use of a coaster.
HVAC & WINDOWS: The thermostat is set for heating or cooling according to season. If opening a screened window for ventilation, please close it before exiting the room.
SMOKING: NO SMOKING is allowed INSIDE, smoking allowed OUTSIDE only. A minimum $250 fee will be charged should there be any damages or lingering smoke as a result of a Guest smoking inside.
CANDLES & FIREPLACE: Prohibited. Sorry, but this is a historic 1820’s cabin, and our insurance policy prohibits use of the fireplace or having any open flame. Guests will be responsible for all charges resulting in clean-up of wax or fire damages. Guest in violation of this policy will be accessed at a minimum $250, no exception.
EXCESSIVE NOISE OR DISTURBANCES: Guest generating excessive noise will be asked to leave the cabin immediately without refund.
DAMAGES, STOLEN ITEMS, BROKEN ITEMS AND/OR EXCESSIVE CLEANING: occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the Guest. This includes the responsibility of everyone in the Guest Party. Any special clean-up resulting in damages caused by the Guest will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of making the reservation. Charges may need to be applied after the departure of the Guest as deemed necessary by the Owners.
HIKING: To ensure your safety, we ask all guests to remain within the boundary of Peaceful Valley Cabin property. If hiking when it is muddy, please leave the mud (including your muddy shoes) at the front or back doors.
